It’s going to take longer than you think

When starting out with any fatloss journey, it’s really important to make sure that you remember that its going to take longer than you think.

You may see a post about a celebrity who “bounced back” from having a baby in a matter of weeks, and wonder why you still carry yours 2yrs later.

Or An actor who dropped a serious amount of weight in a short period of time for a role, but you can never shift a those few pounds.

The thing is that when we see these we forget the fact that they were probably put on an intense (and sometimes dangerous to health diet). Which most people would struggle to maintain, but not only that, they also..

Had a PT to train with them 2 maybe 3 times a day.

Had a chef to cook that food that they were eating.

Had a minder for the children while they did all this.

And didn’t have a full time job to go to every day.

It’s no wonder they were able to do all this in such a short period of time.

Most normal people don’t even have one of those things let alone the time needed to dedicate ourselves to such a strict (and unecessary) training schedule.

So it will take longer than you see on the magazine, and not because you are a failure or you have no will power.

It is because you are human.

You have a life.

You have responsibilties.

You can absolutely have a fatloss goal but if it is so strict that you can’t concentrate work

Or have any enengry to play with your kids.

Or Do anything you enjoy in life.

Is it really worth it?
