Don’t be afraid to do something that scares you…

Lil throwback to last Saturday where I went Zip lining (and aereal obstical coursing) thanks to veronica and helena.

When I was first asked did I want to go I said yes, because I love physical things like this, but was also quite apprehensive to how it would go because I have developed a fear of heights in my latter years (which is ironic to anyone who knew me as a child as I would climb trees and do mad shit like that on the daily)

But I thought ‘Feck it, be grand’ and decided to go anyway.

But It wasn’t grand.. It wasn’t grand at all..

I jest it wasn’t that bad.

In fact I did much better than I thought.

I only had one (major) wobbly at the end of the last course we did cos I had to jump off a platform and I didn’t know it would go super slow bringing me down! (I didn’t just either, more shimmied my bum off the end).

Now don’t get me wrong, I was positvily SHITTING myself most of the way around, especially the zip lines when they got higher and higher.

But the thing is, I didn’t let it stop me. I kept going until I got to the end of that 3rd course.

I’m glad i didn’t let my fears hold me back from trying something new.

I know if the option came up again, I would do it again too.

It’s easy to find an excuse not to do something because of fear. How many times have you talked yourself out of something that could be really enjoyable because you are afraid?

What have you been wanting to do for a long time that you are letting fear stop you from doing?

This is your time to do it.

Drop me a comment if you are not going to let fear hold you back and do that thing!
